IPTVU FOR ANDROID
Terms of Service
Effective November 4, 2026. These terms apply to the IPTVu Android app listed on Google Play as ca.irisbuddy.iptvu. The app is a media player for sources you are authorized to use. It does not include channels or an IPTV service.
1. The app and these terms
IPTVu is published on Google Play under “irisbuddy inc”; its listing identifies IPTVu as a product of IrisBuddy Incorporated. In these terms, “we” means the IPTVu publisher identified in the app’s Google Play developer details. Installing or using IPTVu means you agree to these terms and the privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Google Play’s terms also apply to your download and purchases through Google Play.
These terms cover IPTVu for Android. TVu on Apple platforms may have different features, purchase terms and applicable store rules.
2. Your media sources and permissions
IPTVu lets you add and organize your own M3U or M3U8 playlists, compatible provider accounts and supported media sources. We do not provide, sell, host, recommend or verify third-party channels, playlists, films, television programmes, provider accounts, media subscriptions or rights to content. A sample demo on IPTVu.org is provided only as described on its demo and credits pages.
You are responsible for obtaining permission to access and play each source you add, following your provider’s terms, and complying with copyright and other applicable laws. Do not use IPTVu to access content without authorization, bypass access controls or infringe another person’s rights. Do not share provider credentials with us or with others unless your provider permits it.
3. Third-party services and availability
IPTVu connects to sources and providers you choose. Their content, accounts, networks, prices, availability, security and privacy practices are controlled by them and governed by their own terms. A playlist or stream may change, fail, be blocked, or be removed at any time. Playback, guide data, recording and other functions depend on your device, network, source format, provider permissions and applicable law. We do not promise that a third-party source will remain accessible or work on every device.
4. Google Play purchases and subscriptions
Some app features may require a Google Play purchase or subscription. An eligible Google Play account may see a free-trial offer. The offer, price, currency, taxes, duration, renewal date and any other purchase terms are displayed in Google Play before you confirm a purchase; those checkout terms control your purchase. A free trial is available only when Google Play shows it for your account. IPTVu’s purchase does not include a subscription to any third-party media provider.
Subscriptions renew through Google Play unless cancelled. You can review or cancel a subscription in Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation generally ends future renewal while access continues through the paid period, subject to Google Play rules and applicable law. Refund requests are handled under Google Play’s refund process and applicable consumer rights. If a purchase does not appear in IPTVu, use the app’s Restore Purchases option or contact info@iptvu.org without sending payment-card details.
If subscription pricing changes, we may offer a change only for a valid business reason, such as changes in operating costs, taxes or the features supplied. We will provide the advance notice and any required choice or consent through Google Play in accordance with its rules and applicable law. A price change will not silently override a checkout price already confirmed for a current billing period.
5. Your data and security
IPTVu uses playlist details, provider credentials and app preferences to connect to sources you select. Providers you contact receive the network information and credentials needed for that connection. Our privacy notice explains app storage, support requests and store-managed purchases. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and your provider credentials. Remove a source or uninstall the app when you no longer want its local data retained.
6. Changes, support and consumer rights
We may update the app and these terms as features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will change when the terms change. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way before they take effect where required. You may stop using the app and cancel a subscription through Google Play if you do not accept a change.
These terms do not remove any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer law. For app support, purchase-access problems, privacy questions or a concern about these terms, contact info@iptvu.org. Please do not send playlist links, passwords or complete payment-card details in support email.
